Dementia: innovative approaches towards a better quality of life

This workshop will bring together national and international researchers, practitioners working in dementia care and people with dementia and their carers. During the day we will hear about the needs of people with dementia and their carers and about exciting research which is considering how needs might be met through technology and engineering. There will be opportunity during the day for networking, discussion and debate.
The workshop is aimed at a wide range of practitioners and policy makers, health and social care practitioners, employers, charitable and government bodies concerned with the needs of older and disabled people, as well as researchers and academics from engineering, biological, social science, medical and health care disciplines.
